Area 304+: 2022 OL Stunned by WVU Offer, Blown Away by Virtual Visit

The Mountaineer coaching staff did a terrific job hosting Indiana offensive lineman Landen Livingston on a virtual visit

Recently, the West Virginia coaching staff extended an offer to class of 2022 offensive lineman Landen Livingston (6'4", 280 lbs) of Leo, Indiana.

Livingston, who also virtually visited West Virginia, was shocked by the Mountaineers' offer.

"I was very surprised that a program like West Virginia came and extended an offer. I was super excited when I got the news," Livingston said. "The virtual visit was awesome and they did a great job of describing the campus. I can’t wait to build a better relationship with the coaches!"

Aside from the coaching staff, Livingston says that West Virginia has a lot to offer including the facilities, competitive football, and a dedicated fanbase.

"Their fan base is amazing. They really have a great atmosphere around the program and have great tradition as well. I think it would be awesome to play in the Big 12 and I loved the facilities!! They are brand new which is really cool to see, I can’t wait to see them in person."

Livingston also holds offers from Michigan State, Purdue, Indiana, Cincinnati, Arizona State, Ball State, Toledo, and Bowling Green. He tells Mountaineer Maven that he is hoping to make his commitment by next summer, but a lot will depend on how many places he actually gets to go and visit.
