Bob Huggins is Reportedly Facing a Suspension

An announcement is expected to be made soon by the university.

Earlier this week, WVU men's head basketball coach Bob Huggins referred to Xavier fans as "Catholic f---" during a radio interview on Bill Cunningham's show on WLW in Cincinnati.

After the audio of the conversation was released to social media, many around the country began to voice the opinion that Huggins should be fired. That doesn't appear to be the case.

According to reports from Mike Casazza of 247Sports and Pete Thamel of ESPN, Huggins is expected to continue coaching at West Virginia but will face a suspension to begin the season. In the report by 247Sports, Huggins is set to serve a three-game suspension, missing games against Missouri State, Monmouth, and Jacksonville State. Thamel reports that Huggins will see a $1 million salary reduction and receive sensitivity training.
