Erik Stevenson Impressing Pro Scouts at Portsmouth Invitational Tournament

It's been a good start to the draft process for Erik!

Erik Stevenson made a big impact during his lone season in Morgantown, helping West Virginia return to the NCAA Tournament.

Stevenson was selected to the All-Big 12 Third Team as voted on by the league's coaches. He averaged 15.5 points per game on the season, shooting 44.0% from the field and 39.2% from three-point range.

He ranked seventh in the league in scoring during conference play with 15.4 ppg, highlighted by a career-high 34 points in the Mountaineers dominating win over Oklahoma, which overshadowed his previous career-best of 31 the week prior in the Big 12/SEC Challenge versus Auburn.

With his collegiate career in the books, Stevenson is preparing for the next level by participating in the Portsmouth Invitational, a tournament where the nation's best seniors get an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of NBA and international scouts.

In Stevenson's most recent game, he was named Player of the Game as he posted 23 points on 9/17 shooting (5/8 3FG). He also recorded six rebounds, an assist, and a pair of steals. Through two games in the tournament, Stevenson is 15/28 from the field, including 9/16 from three-point range.
