Olivier Nkamhoua Withdraws from NBA Draft

The Tennessee transfer will finish out his college eligibility.

Wednesday was the final day for players to withdraw their names from the 2023 NBA Draft and retain their college eligibility. Several of the top players in the country made the decision to return to school, including Tennessee transfer Olivier Nkamhoua.

Nkamhoua will have one year of eligibility remaining and is currently considering Kansas State, Michigan, and West Virginia.

In 36 games this past season with Tennessee, Nkamhoua averaged 10.8 points, five rebounds, and two assists while shooting 51% from the floor, 33% from three-point range, and 69% from the free throw line.

Considering West Virginia will see the return of Tre Mitchell, it's likely that Nkamhoua would be utilized off the bench but would still see a ton of minutes. He has the ability to score it close and every now and then step out and hit a triple. On the defensive end, he can guard multiple spots and be a difference-maker in the paint.

There is no reported timetable on when a decision will come.
