WVU's Haskins Charged With Multiple Misdemeanors

Morgantown, WV - as first reported by Sean Manning of the Dominion Post and WV Metro News (Full Details), West Virginia tight end Jovani Haskins was charged with reckless driving, fleeing from a police officer, and driving on the left side of the road by the WVU Police Department. All of these three acts are classified as misdemeanors.

Haskins posted a 2,500 on August 2nd at Monongalia County Magistrate Court .

This is big for the WVU football program. This will be one of the first big off the field issue new Head Coach Neal Brown will have to deal with. Haskins, a Mackey Award watchlist member, is expected to be a top target on offense for the Mountaineers this upcoming season.

Jovani Haskins has been at fall camp, but his participation has been limited to non-contact drills.
