Mountaineers Offer 2020 New Orleans Athlete

Louisiana is rarely thought of when describing West Virginia's recruiting footprint, but that hasn't kept the Mountaineers from seeking out the Bayou State's best talent.

This past weekend, New Orleans (LA) 2020 athlete Corey Wren received his second Big 12 offer from West Virginia.

"I'm very excited about that offer from West Virginia. [I] had a great talk with the coaching staff and they're continuing to build something special and I'm very excited to have an opportunity to be part of that."

The 5-foot-9, 170-pound Wren currently holds offers from Houston, Boston College, Kentucky, Kansas, Washington State, and many others.

Wren plans on visiting Morgantown in the future.
