WVU is listed as the “front runner” for top 2021 receiver

Yesterday following the annual WVU Showtime Camp, the Mountaineers offered 2021 wide receiver Andrew Wilson-Lamp of Massillon, OH.

The offer was something he’s been waiting a long time for and with that offer, he already has a leader in his recruitment. “I was very excited. Being a kid that grew up looking up to players like Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey and Geno Smith and always watching their highlights, it’s pretty cool. Those guys are like legends to me. They (West Virginia) are probably the biggest stand out to me right now. They’ always been a favorite of mine growing up and the coaches are cool guys. Once I came in, the relationship was automatic.” Wilson-Lamp said.

He also currently holds offers from Kent State, Akron, Toledo and Iowa State. A decision in not in the near future as he plans to focus on his upcoming season.
