Gillette LB Driscoll Announces Commitment to University of Wyoming

Gillette linebacker Caleb Driscoll became the first in-state player to commit to Wyoming football, the 13th overall who is set to sign during the December Early Signing Period,. and the first in-state commitment.

Driscoll is expected to sign his letter of intent in the December early signing period.

Driscoll, 6-2, 215, also had a preferred walk-on offer from Arizona State, but had given indications from the start he had strong interest in joining the Cowboys.

In addition to 1-AA Northern Colorado, he had been pursued by smaller regional schools, including Black Hills State, Chadon State, Western College, Rocky Mountain College and Dickinson State.

He was rated by 247 Sports as the No. 1 prospect in Wyoming, and the 130th best high school linebacker in the country.
