Having Successfully Fed Strangers in New Jersey, SI's Tailgate Tour Heads to Purdue
Last week I shared some news that was of great interest to a handful of people in the tri-state region, of passing interest to an indeterminate number of college football fans, and of negligible interest to everyone else: That Dinosaur BBQ founder John Stage would be appearing at MetLife Stadium before last Saturday's Penn State-Syracuse tilt for the first stop of SI's Tailgate Tour. Now that the event is in the rearview (tailgate joke), those of you who had great or passing interest might be wondering: How did it go?
It went well. In particular, I defy you to look at the smoked pork butt (:51 mark) and not weep:
