Waste Time Trying to Connect Famous Athletes with More than 9 Degrees of Separation
Slate has unveiled a massively impressive time-waster courtesy of Ben Blatt with its new Six Degrees of Kevin Garnett tool.
Type in the names of any two athletes from any of the 4 major sports (sorry soccer), and they will connect them through a series of teammates. As you can imagine, multi-sport athletes like Deion Sanders and Bo Jackson are vital to this enterprise, although pitcher/power forward Mark Hendrickson seems to be the most common link in my tinkering so far.
If you can somehow get a a double-digit degree of separation, you deserve a prize.
