That Was Weird

After a World Series that saw two games ending in unique fashion (obstructed runner, pickoff at first), the NFL decided to get in on the action as last night's Dolphins-Bengals game ended on a walk-off safety by Cameron Wake. It was only the third time a game has ended on a safety in league history. But that wasn't all. Bengals RB Giovano Bernardpulled off perhaps the season's best run with a 35-yard touchdown scamper. Dolphins RB Lamar Miller also had a ridiculous run, but fumbled at the end to cost Miami a likely touchdown. And this fan, with his giant Dan Marino head and tube socks, deserves special mention.

(Update at 4:03 p.m.: Urban Meyer's wife Shelly went on Twitter earlier to to say that Ditka picture was actually a family friend. Oh well.)
