"Funny or Die" Is Making a Sports Documentary Series for Discovery Channel

Funny or Die continues its media expansion in the form of a presently-untitled reality sports series set to debut on Discovery Channel in 2014. The show, which will feature athletes traveling to Detroit to train with acclaimed strength and conditioning coach Mike Barwis, recently shot its pilot with Tyrann "Honey Badger" Mathieu.
“The show combines sports, comedy, competition and emotion in a way that no one has seen before,” Funny or Die president Mike Farah said in a statement, via Variety. “Mike Barwis is a star in the making and if anyone disagrees I’ll send him to choke you out. So, yeah, don’t disagree.”
