A total of 105,491 fans, the largest crowd in U.S. hockey history, braved the 13-degree weather and piled into Michigan Stadium yesterday for the Winter Classic between the Maple Leafs and Red Wings. Toronto's Tyler Bozak scored the game-winning shootout goal to give Toronto a 3-2 victory. As for Winter Classic style, Maple Leafs defenseman Paul Ranger wore a massive amount of eye black, Red Wings coach Mike Babcock rocked a fedora on the Detroit bench and this fan went home with a great counterfeit T-shirt.
It's been a rough couple days for Bobcats rookie Cody Zeller. First, he sent out this sad tweet about never having a midnight kiss on New Year's Eve (or as he put it, "I'm now 0-21 on that whole 'midnight kiss' thing.") and then he had the worst missed dunk of the season.
