Video: Ice Climber Falls Down Mountain While Wearing POV Camera

Sunday March 9th, 2014

I'm not an ice climber, nor have I ever actually thought about taking part in the activity.

But if I ever get a wild hair and decide I want to risk life and limb to crawl up Mother Nature's peaks, I'll just watch this video and make other plans.

That's probably what this ice climber was wishing he did too as just moments into the video he appeared to lose his footing. That momentary blunder was all it took, sending him careening down the mountainside at terrifying speeds with the camera rolling during the entire time.

All in all, the fall lasted just over thirty seconds, which most likely felt like a lifetime for the climber.

Absolutely terrifying.
