Tampa Bay's Steven Stamkos accidentally scores goal in own net
Saturday evening was an eventful one for Tampa Bay Lightning center Steven Stamkos.
The veteran's roller coaster night first began with embarrassment after he sent a wayward pass past a teammate, which then, shockingly, ricocheted off the boards and slid right into Buffalo's own empty net, thus giving the Sabres a one-goal lead.
Fortunately for Tampa, they were able to tie the game before the end of regulation, which thankfully allowed Stamkos to be in a position to score the game winner in overtime.
