Hero Cat Who Saved Boy Will Throw Pitch At Minor League Baseball Game

Friday May 16th, 2014

So here's the deal: aside from being a big sports fan, I’m also a big animal person, too. So when I saw the above video of a cat saving a little boy from a vicious attack by a dog, I thought: “Wow, this is amazing. I wish I could share it on Extra Mustard but this has nothing to do with sports.”

A day later, problem solved.

That's because in a headline written by the internet itself, it's just been announced that the hero cat, named Tara, will be throwing out the first pitch at a minor-league baseball game on May 20 between the Bakersfield Blaze and the Lancaster JetHawks.

Bakersfield news is reporting that Tara will need help from the family to throw the pitch, but I think that’s nonsense. This cat, obviously, can do anything.
