Ever wanted to be on Jeopardy with Alex Trebek giving you smug responses when you forget about 18th century French literature?

Well, that isn't you chance. It's way better — Sports Jeopardy with SI's own Dan Patrick.

The show, which will be on the online TV distributor Crackle, is looking for contestants over the next month and basically anyone 18 years old and up can register.

Here's what Crackle said in a release:

"Auditions include a qualifying test of 30 clues in 30 sports-related categories. Pass the initial test and enter a second round of mock game play and a short interview."

And here are the dates they released:

  1. Los Angeles — June 7 and 8 (with later dates TBA)
  2. Las Vegas — June 21 and 22
  3. Dallas — June 28 and 29
  4. Chicago — July 12 and 13
  5. New York — July 19 and 20

Anyone who thinks they're up for the challenge can sign up here, and if you want to see some sample questions (I mean, answers), click here.

I only got 10 out of 12 right, so I guess I'll have to stick to my day job — which is telling you about Sports Jeopardy.
