The United States does not take on Germany in the World Cup for another two weeks, but the two countries have already begun their battle for soccer supremacy on the International Space Station, where Americans Reid Weisman and Steve Swanson and German Alexander Gerst showed off their zero gravity skills. It looks like the folks at NASA must have read Extra Mustard's article on intergalactic soccer, and decided to get to work right away. Good call guys, those aliens are probably already training.
