Tuesday's A.M. Hot Clicks: Percy Harvin Has Frustrating Night

Poor Percy

Seattle defeated Washington 27-17 on Monday but you can't blame Percy Harvin (and his fantasy owners) for being frustrated. The Seahawks receiver scored three times only to see all three touchdowns called back due to penalties. Russell Wilson had the play of the game when he avoided three defenders to complete this pass.Richard Sherman had the insult of the game when he told reporters that "Pierre Garcon doesn't matter in this league." Also of note: This Redskins fan (and his amazing getup) deserves recognition, as does Wilson for taking time to meet with this fan.

A reader named Chris emailed to tell me how much he loves Hot Clicks and how sick he is of me linking to Derek Jeter items. These are my last two and then I'll be done forever (or a really long time, at least). New Rangers goalie Cedrick Desjardins is quickly ingratiating himself to New York fans by putting images of Frank Sinatra and Jeter on his goalie mask. The Rock appeared at Monday Night Raw in Brooklyn last night and led fans in a DEREK JETER chant.

My New Favorite Website

Brady Hoke clapping. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Lovely Lady of the Day

Blake Lively is pregnant, which is unfortunate as I thought she was going to leave Ryan Reynolds and follow her long-standing crush on the guy who writes Hot Clicks. Oh well. In the meantime, here are some of Blake's best photos (click here for full-size gallery).

Feel-Good Item of the Day

The Utah Jazz signed five-year-old JP Gibson to a one-day contract on Monday. The team's newest acquisition, who has been battling acute lymphoblastic leukemia since 2012, got into last night's intra-squad scrimmage and threw down a two-handed flush. Watch the video at the end of this post -- it's tremendous.

The former WWE champ then led AT&T Park in "YES" chants.

Had that whole music thing not worked out, perhaps John Mellencamp has a career in basketball. Though judging by his dribbling in this 1987 photo, maybe not. The Indiana native and die-hard Hoosiers fan turned 63 today. For more classic sports photos, visit the SI Vault on Twitter.

Tony Bennett Does God Bless America

So what if he changed the lyrics a little? He's Tony Bennett!

Paul Pierce vs. Joakim Noah

This is an NBA fight (no punches thrown, lots of shoving) but it's preseason and tensions are already high.

Did You Know?

Today's LLOD (Blake Lively) comes from an acting family. Her brother Jason played Rusty in European Vacation.
