It seems backup point guard Aaron Brooks was a little confused about McDermott's first name, believing it to be "Ray," and when he found out his mistake he decided to just stick with it rather than changing course.

McDermott was drafted by the Bulls in the first round of the 2014 draft, while Brooks was signed as a free agent over the summer.

Ray abd the Bulls are scheduled to take on the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday in their third preseason contest.
