Gatorade has released a new commercial focusing on Landon Donovan's impact on soccer in the United States and around the globe.

The commercial shows young players mimicking Donovan's deliberate penalty kick routine, intercut with footage of Donovan himself preparing to take a kick.

Donovan will take the field for the United States men's national team for one final time on Friday night, when the team plays Ecuador in Hartford, Conn.

The 32-year old has the USMNT records for goals scored and assists and will have appeared in 157 matches for the team after Friday's send-off game.
