High school cross country runner finishes race with broken leg

Connor Callihan says he had pain in his leg throughout his cross country race on Monday, but it wasn't until he was five feet from the finish line that he felt his leg snap.

Callihan, from Ashville, N.C., fractured his leg in three different places, but he was determined to cross the finish line.

While in the hospital recovering from surgery, Callihan got to talk to another North Carolina runner who finished a race on a broken leg, U.S. Olympian Manteo Mitchell.
