Baseball's $100 Million Men

Jon Lester (who signed a six-year, $155 million deal with the Cubs) and Giancarlo Stanton (who signed a 13-year, $325 million deal with the Marlins) probably won't be using their 20% off coupons from Bed, Bath and Beyond. Here's a look at all 54 MLB players who have signed $100 million contracts.

Adventures of Rob Gronkowski and Tim Tebow

It's hard to find two football players with less in common, but for the sake of brevity I am combining them into one item. Rob Gronkowski appears in the latest issue of ESPN the Magazine posing (sometimes shirtless) with various kittens. Its as weird as it sounds. Tim Tebow, meanwhile, visited Disney World and dressed like a Jedi.

Baseball's Best Grass

Congrats to Ben Young, the head groundskeeper for the AA Altoona Curve in Pennsylvania, who was named the winner of the Sports Turf Managers Association’s second Mowing Patterns Contest. Here are some of Young's best outfield grass creations.

P.M. Lovely Lady of the Day

In honor of the big news that Bo Jackson will now be a playable character in Madden, I searched for the best-looking Bo I could find and came across Bo Koehler, who certainly makes the name proud (click here for full-size gallery).

Concession Food Item of the Week

What's better than a fried twinkie? A double-fried twinkie (along with a choice of caramel, strawberries, raspberries and chocolate), which you can find at the FedEx Forum, home of the Memphis Grizzlies. And it's just $4!

On this day in 1984, Hall and Oates' Out of Touch was No. 1 on the Billboard charts. Here's a live version of the song from a 2003 concert.

If you haven't heard Garfunkel and Oates by now, look up their stuff on YouTube. This is one of my favorites, titled Pregnant Women are Smug.
