Jazz forward Derrick Favors is the subject of the cover story in this month's Pets in the City Magazine, along with a stories about body language in dogs and canine eye health.

In the story, which is adorably headlined "Going Nose-To-Nose with Derrick Favors," Favors talks about the two dogs he and his girlfriend have, a pitbull and teacup Yorkshire Terrier. The pitbull is named Gotti and the terrier, which is roughly the size of Favors' hand, is named Roxy.

A young fan cried when Brett Lawrie was traded, so he paid her a visit

The magazine's website misidentifies him as Derrick Powers, but who cares? We're more interested in the cute dogs than the Jazz.
