During Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, Indianapolis Colts long snapper Matt Overton paid tribute to the two New York Police Department officers who were killed Saturday afternoon as they sat in their patrol car.

Indianapolis Star photographer Matt Kryger captured the tribute:

According to the New York Post, officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos were shot and killed by Ismaaiyl Brinsley while they sat in their patrol car on a street corner in Brooklyn Saturday afternoon. Brinsley later turned his gun on himself on a nearby subway platform as police moved to take him into custody.

New York Giants coach Tom Coughlin and New York Jets center Nick Mangold also shared tributes on Sunday. Coughlin sported a black stripe on his left shoulder and a peace sign on his jacket during the Giants' game in St. Louis against the Rams. Mangold wore a NYPD cap on his way into MetLife Stadium and during pre-game warmups before the Jets' game against the New England Patriots.
