Dick LeBeau's departure contributed to woman's death, her obituary claims
Eleanor Miriam Gallagher died Wednesday at the age of 81, four days after Dick LeBeau resigned as the Steelers' defensive coordinator. He obituary doesn't think it was a coincidence.
"Eleanor was a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and the family firmly believes that the recent separation of Dick LeBeau and the Steelers' poor performance this season might have inadvertently contributed to her demise," her obituary reads.
LeBeau, 77, had been the Steelers' defensive coordinator since 2004, but somehow it seemed like it had been much longer.
