Iowa police fine woman for bowling eight games without paying in 2012

Tuesday March 3rd, 2015

If you are in Iowa, don't even think about bowling without paying, because the police will find you – even if it's three years later.

One woman learned that lesson the hard way when a dogged police investigation ended with her receiving a stiff fine.

A woman was charged with bowling eight games without paying. It's proof that you can strike, but crime doesn't pay.

It is nice to know the Iowa City streets – and alleys – will remain safe.
