America doesn't know how to spell Sam Dekker's name

Friday March 27th, 2015

America, meet Sam Dekker.

Dekker is a junior forward for the Wisconsin Badgers, who averages 13.3 points per game as Frank Kaminsky's right-hand man.

He also scored 15 points in the first half against North Carolina in the Sweet 16 on Thursday, to go along with six rebounds and a halftime buzzer beater in the opening 20 minutes.

Naturally, this type of performance on the big stage caught the eye of America and soon Dekker was trending in the United States. Or at least, "Sam Decker" was.

Dekker finished with a career-high 23 points to go along with 10 rebounds as the Badgers defeated the Tar Heels to advance to the Elite Eight. Hopefully by Wisconsin's next game people will have the junior's name right.
