Former England player and current soccer pundit Paul Merson was not happy with the way England manager Roy Hodgson constructed the national team's roster for its Tuesday friendly against Italy.

Mersonwrote an article for Sky Sports singling out the selection of Tottenham'sAndros Townsend as a mistake.

Townsend scored the game-tying goal against Italy late in the game and then followed it up with a wonderful tweet aimed at the hater.
