India's national ice hockey team got some help from a high profile cricket player recently as the team tries to raise money to play in Kuwait for an international tournament among Asian teams.

The Rock convinced UFC to let Ronda Rousey work with WWE

Gautam Gambhir is the captain of the Kolkata Knight Riders and he heard that the Ice Hockey Association of India was in need of some extra funds so he donated 400,000 INR, or $6,417 USD, to help the team get to the tournament, according to NDTV.com.
