Tuesday A.M. Hot Clicks: lovely lady of the day Jennifer Hawkins; J.J. Watt Can Help You Miss Work
J.J. Watt Can Help You Skip Work
J.J. Watt is hosting a charity softball game in Houston on Friday that pits the Texans offense against the defense. One fan bought tickets but has to work so she asked Watt to write a letter excusing her from the job for a day. And Watt obliged, penning a convincing letter to the woman's boss. He even wrote it on his own stationary, which is how I remembered his first name is Justin. Take a look at our All-Initials NFL team to see what the other J stands for.
Jason Whitlock Update
Deadspin's Greg Howard has a must-read piece on Jason Whitlock and the problem with his yet-to-be-launched ESPN microsite. This is one of the best things I've read all year.
Kobe's Best Trash-Talking Moments
The first round of the NBA playoffs have been fun but the trash talk has been disappointing. Luckily, Complex has compiled Kobe Bryant's 15 most epic trash-talking moments, including this great video of him and Michael Jordan at the 2003 All-Star game.
Lovely Lady of the Day
Ted from Toronto requested Australian model Jennifer Hawkins. Solid request as Australia continues to represent in the LLOD department (click here for full-size gallery).

Beware of Streaker
A visiting fan of Southport FC runs on the field in his tighty-whiteys, takes a selfie with the goalkeeper then falls over and knocks down corner flag. I'm guessing alcohol was involved.
RIP Verne Gagne
Wrestling icon Verne Gagne passed away at age 89. Here's a 1977 bout between Gagne and Nikolai Volkoff.
Random Song of the Day
Hadn't heard Son Volt's Drown in months until it suddenly popped up on my playlist. That's the good thing about having 2,500 songs on a constant shuffle. Anyhow, great song. Enjoy your Tuesday!
