Steven Stamkos and the Lightning took batting practice with the Rays

Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning took batting practice with the Rays.

The Tampa Bay Lightning came this close to winning the Stanley Cup but it looks like some of the players may be eyeing a career change anyway.

Steven Stamkos, Ben Bishop, Brian Boyle and Alex Killorn hung out at Tropicana Park on Tuesday afternoon and took batting practice with the Tampa Bay Rays. Afterwards, they stuck around to throw out the first pitch.

While it shouldn't come as a surprise that these elite athletes looked pretty good with a bat in their hands, it's pretty shocking that Ben Bishop, who played through a torn groin in the Stanley Cup final, was the first one to hit a home run.
