Marquette’s Steve Wojciechowski shows no mercy at hoops camp

Marquette coach Steve Wojciechowski showed no mercy on campers in one-on-one games at Marquette's summer camp.

Steve Wojciechowski showed no mercy as he hit free-throws and lay-ups in the faces of campers at Marquette's boys basketball summer camp Wednesday.

The Golden Eagles' coach showed he still has some of his stroke from his collegiate playing days at Duke, where he was a two-time all-ACC player and an honorable mention on the All-American team.

In the video tweeted by Marquette Athletics, Wojciechowski has a line of 13 kids waiting for their chance to sink a shot on the coach. The 38-year-old coach hits two free-throws with ease against the first two kids before pulling the old "your shoe is untied" trick on the third kid.

Big East Summer Reset: Chris Mullin retooling the Red Storm right away

Wojociechowski is entering his second season with the program.

During the 2014–15 season, Marquette finished 13–19 and tied for last in the Big East Conference. The future looks better for Marquette as the upcoming freshman class boasts Henry Ellenson, a top-10 rated prospect and McDonald's All-American selection.
