Miguel Cabrera made a new friend out of an opposing fan as the Tigers defeated the Indians 7–3 on Tuesday night.

In the fifth inning, a young fan made a nice play on a foul ball, using his hat to snag the bouncing grounder and then talking some trash with the opposing first baseman.

Cabrera laughed with the Indians supporter and told him to stay in place along the first base line. The two-time-MVP then ran back out between innings to hand his new pal a pair of batting gloves along with one of his bats.

The Indians may have lost, but it will be hard for this kid to ever top his experience at the ballpark Tuesday night.
