Minor league game cancelled due to nearby circus tent

Baseball often lends itself to some silly circumstances. 

Players injuring themselves from sneezing, the overmatched groundskeepers and fans with babies catching foul balls are all no longer surprising. 

But we've never seen this before.

Tonight's minor league game between the Tampa Yankees and Clearwater Threshers was cancelled because of a giant circus tent behind right-center field. 

The circus tent was in the middle of the batter's eye, which rendered the game unplayable. Check it out for yourself:
