Ronda Rousey said she would accept a Marine’s invitation to the Marine Corps Ball in December.
Good news, U.S. Marine Jarrod Haschert: Ronda Rousey has accepted your invitation to the Marine Corps Ball in December. Now, you just need to figure out how to get in touch with her.
Rousey told TMZ she would take Haschert up on the offer during a recent interview that came not long after his invitation was posted to Facebook on Aug. 22. A U.S. Marine stationed in Camp Lejeune, N.C., Haschert did not hold back while detailing his affection for Rousey.
“You are my celebrity crush,” he professed. “Like, I love everything you do and I think that you are a phenomenal person, which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on Dec. 11. I really hope this doesn’t get in the way of your training for your next fight.”
“I would go, for sure,” Rousey told TMZ, after acknowledging the fight rescheduling works in Haschert’s favor. “Do I call him? Or do I, like, set up a time and place, like Never Been Kissed? Just show up and have him waiting there until the clock runs out and then be like, ‘I’m here!’?”
Rousey also called Haschert “cute,” which likely made his day even greater.
