New England station makes PSA for teams who lose to Patriots

Wednesday September 16th, 2015

Comcast SportsNet New England knows that teams who lose to the Patriots this season will be looking for an excuse in the multiple allegations of cheating leveled against the team, and so it has made a public service announcement to help them out.

• Redskins letting fans kick on the field after cutting the team’s kicker

The ad is for the “Sore Loser Society,” a support group for teams who have fallen to the reigning Super Bowl champions, who feel “deflated” and have trouble “communicating.”

In addition to addressing the Deflategate and headset malfunction accusations, the ad also throws in a joke about the “2014 AFC Finalist” banner the Colts decided to hang after their loss to the Patriots in the game, which would serve as the launching point of the football deflation investigation that dominated the off-season.
