Tonga’s rugby team ate at the same chicken restaurant 10 days in a row

Tuesday September 29th, 2015

The Tongan national rugby team is in England for the World Cup and seems to have eased into a routine. The boys have been based in the town of Exeter for their World Cup preparations and quickly made themselves at home at a chain restaurant.

In the 10 days before their match against Namibia, the players visited the same Nando’s location every day for some spicy chicken.

Last visit from the Tonga Team before their match tomorrow! They visited everyday for the past 10 days, and feel like part of our family now!!! Good luck boys!!!! :-D

As a token of their appreciation, the players all signed a jersey that will be hung up in the restaurant.

You will all be able to admire this beauty in the restaurant very soon! ;-)

Now, eating fast food for a week and a half before a big game might not seem like a good idea but the Tongans topped Namibia 35–21 and are now in second place in their group.
