After Jacob deGrom’s outstanding performance in New York’s NLDS Game 1 win over the Dodgers, deGrom decided to play a prank on teammate Daniel Murphy.
After David Wright hit the lever underneath deGrom’s chair as he sat down for his postgame press conference, deGrom decided to turn the hijinx on Daniel Murphy as he prepared to field a question from a reporter.
“That’s messed up, Jake,” Murphy said.
Murphy then needed to adjust his chair to get on deGrom’s level, something Los Angeles was never able to do.
