When PEDs come up the name Jose Canseco is usually not far behind, but the former MLB slugger and steroid enthusiast joked on Twitter that he had nothing to do with Grier’s positive test, while also offering the suspended quarterback his sympathies.

Grier will miss the remainder of the Gators season as well as the first six games of the team’s 2016 campaign due to the rules violation, which the redshirt freshman says was caused by an over-the-counter supplement.
