Wisconsin fans are still booing former Duke point guard Tyus Jones

Wednesday October 21st, 2015

The Minnesota Timberwolves played a preseason game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday at the Kohl Center, home of the Wisconsin Badgers.

Timberwolves rookie point guard Tyus Jones knows a thing or two about the Wisconsin Badgers—he led the Duke Blue Devils to a 68–63 victory over Wisconsin in April’s NCAA National Championship Game, earning tournament Most Outstanding Player honors.

Apparently, the wound it left in the hearts of Wisconsin fans is still fresh, because they booed him relentlessly Tuesday.

This may be the most intense booing a preseason game has seen in the past decade.
