The Royals won the teams’ first World Series title in 30 years on Sunday night and the players celebrated accordingly in the visitors clubhouse at Citi Field, spilling barrels of champagne in the process.

The team then moved into the locker room, and when the corks began to pop, no one was safe.

The people of Kansas were not about to wait for the Royals to fly home to begin their celebration, and the city’s bars were as raucous as the Royals clubhouse.
