Auburn equipment manager uses play calling sign to propose

Tuesday November 3rd, 2015

Auburn equipment manager Clint Crumpton recently got engaged to former student trainer Emma Miller and the 23-year-old used his job on the Tigers sideline to come up with an inventive way to pop the question.

Crumpton is one of the Auburn staff charged with holding up the play signs to relay the call to the offense, so he had a special sign made with his and his girlfriend’s faces, a ring and a question mark to show to Miller before the team’s game against Ole Miss.

Miller said yes, which probably took a lot of the sting out of the Tigers 27–19 loss to the Rebels on Saturday.
