On Saturday, Missouri’s basketball team was on its way to Tucson to take on Arizona when its plane began to experience mechanical difficulties, causing an unexpected nine-hour layover in Lubbock, Texas.

Not wanting to lose precious practice time, Tigers coach Kim Anderson turned lemons into lemonade and an airplane hangar into a basketball court, holding a makeshift walkthrough so the team could stay sharp for Sunday’s game.

How did Pete Carroll get all the way up on this locker?

The group marked off a court and tied a towel into a ball to work on some offensive sets before finally getting a hold of a working airplane so the team could finish its trip to Arizona.

Unfortunately, the unconventional training did not give the Tigers the boost they needed, as they were beaten by Arizona, 88–52.
