Gilbert Arenas vs. WNBA
I was wondering when people would discover the ridiculously sexist Instagram video Gilbert Arenas posted a couple days ago. The video depicts a couple half-naked women playing basketball with the caption, "NOW this is what america was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996... not a bunch of chicks running around looking like, cast members from #orangeisthenewblack." It goes on from there but you get the point. Anyhow, the WNBA struck back with a strongly worded statement and several players took to social media and blasted Arenas.
World's Fastest Runner in a Suit
Congrats to Gihan Amarasiriwardena, co-founder of fashion apparel company Ministry of Supply, who set a new record for fastest half marathon (1:35:47) while wearing a business suit.
