The Buffalo Bills will pay you to shovel snow this weekend

For a second straight year, the Buffalo Bills are asking locals to help shovel snow at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

For a second straight year, the Buffalo Bills are asking locals to help shovel snow at Ralph Wilson Stadium.

The team released a statement on Friday, two days before hosting the New York Jets, offering to give shovelers $10 per hour and a warm lunch if they arrive at 8 a.m. on Saturday ready to remove snow from the field to get it ready for Sunday.

Here’s the good news, Buffalo residents: You can make a little extra cash this weekend. The bad news? You won’t get free tickets, and you’ll need to bring your own shovel to the Stadium.

Last year, the Bills offered tickets to their game, which was coincidentally also against the Jets, along with the hourly pay. They eventually moved the game to Detroit due to the volume of snow.

If you’re a Buffalo resident in need of more information, you can head to the team’s website.

The Bills and Jets are set to kick off at 1 p.m. on Sunday, if they’re able to clear the field.
