John Kasich practiced his jump shot while waiting for election results

John Kasich put up some jumpers while waiting for election results in his home state of Ohio.

John Kasich won an important primary on Tuesday in his home state of Ohio, winning 66 delegates and staying alive in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

With lots of big states holding elections, it was a tense day to be a candidate, but the Urban Meyer-endorsed candidate and his crew blew off some steam by putting up some jumpers.

Earlier this election season Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders also shook some jitters off by shooting hoops while winning the New Hampshire primary.
