Brandon McCarthy doesn’t like the hat he’s going to wear on July 4

MLB released the designs for its special holiday uniforms on Wednesday and at least one player doesn’t think too highly of the Fourth of July hats.

MLB released the designs for its special holiday uniforms on Wednesday and at least one player is echoing what the fans are saying: The Fourth of July hats are bad. 

They look like they should have an energy drink logo. 

Dodgers pitcher/Twitter funnyman Brandon McCarthy has some thoughts.

McCarthy is currently recovering from Tommy John surgery. We hope he’s healthy before July, but maybe he’ll sit out a little longer so he doesn’t have to wear that ugly hat.
