In addition to being charming on talk shows, and acting in films, Tom Hanks also finds some time in his busy schedule to follow the Premier League, and he was recently asked about the league at a premiere event for his new movie A Hologram for the King.

While Hanks was interested in reliving the pain of seeing his favorite team, Aston Villa, relegated, The Joe vs. The Volcano star said he may have placed a bet on the unlikely league leaders of Leicester City, although he does appear to be kidding.

The Independent notes that if Hanks really did place the bet on Leicester, which needs to earn three points in its final three games to button up the title, he could see a return of £500,000, or $729,185.
