Jared Goff of Cal was selected with the No. 1 overall pick and joins a long list of first-round picks to be drafted with their first-name starting with the letter "J."
The first-ever player drafted No. 1 overall in 1936 started the trend with Jay Beranger of Chicago.

Goff makes it three in a row for the letter "J" over the last three years, which no other letter has accomplished.
